The 4th session of the Libyan Aviation Exhibition and Convention 2024 LAVEX. It is sponsored by the Libyan Ministry of Transportation and Civil Aviation, the Libyan Airports Authority and a number of national and international companies and institu- tions in the aviation sector.

This international forum will foster opportunities and provide a conducive business environment to attract institutions, companies and international organizations related to aviation and air transportation. Their active participa- tion will enable the Civil Aviation sector to achieve its objectives and keep pace with the air transport sector strategies in Libya and the geographical region in general. The amount of global interest in the Libyan airspace and aviation region confirms the distinguished location of the airports in Libya, geographically and economically, in relation to international airlines. As it would contribute in the development of the aviation sector in all its fields. In the coming years, a growth of 6% in the transport industry and economy is expected in North Africa and the Middle East. Especially at this stage it is necessary to activate and expand the scope of global cooperation for interna- tional airlines to support the achievement of the desired goals set for this sector.

This forum will also bring together aviation pioneers from Libya and other countries as well as decision makers and stakeholders to communicate, consult and find solutions to the challenges of international aviation develop-ment.
